El Gouna City, developed by Orascom Development Holding in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, has introduced Fanadir Marina. This new marina covers 30,600 square meters and can hold 80 yachts ranging from 12 to 14 meters in length.
KEY FEATURES OF FANADIR MARINA
Fanadir Marina is more than a place for mooring yachts. It includes the Fanadir Marina Signature Residence area. This area features a commercial zone spanning 6,000 square meters. Here there are over 38 retail shops and restaurants. So this creates an attractive location in Egypt’s residential real estate market where residents and visitors can enjoy a wide range of experiences at the marina.
EDSA, a well-known urban planning firm, created the master plan for Fanadir Marina. They worked with SB Architects, a firm with over 60 years of experience in designing luxury residential projects.

Mohamed Amer, CEO of El Gouna, emphasises how "Fanadir Marina embodies a new concept of coastal living in El Gouna". In doing so, he notes how it offers world-class comfort and enjoyment. So it's making the coastal city a leading integrated tourist destination.
El Gouna is the largest private marina operator in Egypt too. It operates four fully functional marinas. When totalled, these marinas have a combined capacity of over 680 yachts.

Amer also notes, "Fanadir Marina has significantly enhanced El Gouna City’s capabilities in yacht tourism". He emphasises that yacht tourism is lucrative. So the state prioritizes it due to its positive impact on the Egyptian economy. Plus it brings in more foreign currency, meaning the state aims to attract more tourists to El Gouna for unique yachting experiences. On the pristine Red Sea coast, the resort town is in a great location and has well-developed infrastructure.

Fanadir Marina offers many facilities that ensure exclusive and upscale social experiences. Residents in the area can enjoy a modern lifestyle. El Gouna City continues to develop its marinas. In January 2024, expansion began on Abydos Marina, doubling its capacity from 69 to 120 yachts.

There’s a residential area within the new project too. This area has various-sized units, with every unit already sold and completed. The area has 56 diverse units ranging from 93 to 303 square meters. These units include apartments and penthouses with 1 to 4 bedrooms. The Fanadir Marina Signature Residence area includes 18 diverse units ranging from 225 to 400 square meters.
