Hilton partners with Al Musbah Group and DACO for Saudi's first airport hotel in Dammam, offering convenient amenities and growth prospects.

As reported by Trade Arabia and other news outlets, the hospitality group, Hilton, has teamed up with Al Musbah Group and Dammam Airports Company (DACO) to create its first airport hotel in Saudi Arabia, located at Dammam.

HOTEL FEATURES AND AMENITIES

The Hilton Dammam Airport will consist of 273 guest rooms, including junior suites and two-bedroom suites. Guests can enjoy various amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a café, an outdoor pool with a nearby café, and fitness centres. The hotel will also offer modern meeting facilities. This includes meeting rooms and an executive lounge holding up to 90 people.

A STRONG AND ADVANTAGEOUS PARTNERSHIP

Guests at the Hilton Dammam Airport will have direct skywalk access to the terminal building at King Fahd International Airport. This airport serves about 10 million passengers per year. Al Musbah Group Director Mohammed Almusbahi expressed excitement about this partnership with Hilton. He highlighted how the hotel will contribute to serving travellers at the busy King Fahd International Airport and help visitors explore nearby areas.

HILTON'S GROWTH AND COMMITMENT

Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development for the Middle East & Africa, underlined Hilton's commitment to Saudi Arabia's flourishing tourism industry. He stated that Hilton strives for growth in significant locations, as well as emerging large-scale projects and secondary cities. Hilton currently operates 16 hotels in the kingdom, with ambitious plans to open more than 50 new hotels, representing various Hilton brands. This surge in development is set to make Saudi Arabia Hilton's largest pipeline market within the MENA region. It will also further strengthen Hilton’s position as a key player in the MENA hospitality sector.

EXPANDING PORTFOLIO

Hilton's plans include introducing new brands like LXR Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton. Their goal is to expand their portfolio to over 75 properties in Saudi Arabia over the coming years. This venture marks Hilton's first airport hotel in the country. It also highlights the company's pioneering role in the airport hotel concept.

POSITIVE IMPACT AND FUTURE SUCCESS

Mohammed Al Hassani, CEO of DACO, expressed his pride in the partnership with Hilton, foreseeing a positive impact on passenger services at the airport. Al Hassani emphasised their confidence in the Al Musbah Group and Hilton collaboration, believing it will bring long-term success.

Hilton's upcoming Dammam Airport hotel is set to enhance the travel experience for passengers and visitors alike. With a strategic location and a range of amenities, this partnership between Hilton, Al Musbah Group, and DACO will make a lasting impression in Saudi hospitality.
